I’m posting to share my story and that I am proof that being a SAHM doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take time for yourself. Such a hard concept for me to grasp at first, because to me, my job was my hubby, kids and home – not me.
In my before picture, I dedicated ALL of my time and energy into my family and did nothing for myself.
I was exhausted – low energy, no drive and felt empty. I was constantly sick and taking lots of meds.
I’ve learned over time that eating clean foods, drinking lots of water, exercising – usually only 30 minutes a day, can change you from the inside out!
Eating nutritious foods and taking care of myself helped me to have more energy for my family, lose weight, feel strong and keep up with my kids.
I was so happy to tell my doctor at my physical last week that I don’t need 4 of the meds I was taking daily!
I have felt great, and haven’t been sick in almost 2 years.
I am stronger and healthier than I have ever been!
I am not out to be skinny – my aim has been health, strength and vitality and helping others find that too <3
So, my job still is my family and my home, but now I can do it better.
